Global Trends in Computing and Mobile Devices

These graphics prepared by Mary Meeker, formerly a broker at Merrill Lynch and an internet analyst at Morgan Stanley.  Now Mary is an analyst at the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

Smartphone use is booming:
